I noticed that there was a puddle collecting near the toilet which appeared to be leaking. Our bathroom was outdated the shower appeared to be rather old and paint was peeling off the bottom of the wall. We were not offered another room and when we returned a few hours later the temperature was moderately cooler and the carpet was still wet. We mentioned both the air and the carpet to the front desk and they stated that someone would come up and "take a look". We had not spilled anything in the room and could not imagine why the carpet would be wet. We also noticed that the carpet in the room was wet. When we first entered the room it was very warm and we checked to see if the air was off or turned on low we saw that the air was on full blast. While the hotel itself was nicely decorated and modern looking, I was not impressed with our room. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Tropicana for two nights at the end of July.
